Sony a7S III mirrorless digital camera is now available at a discounted price

Videography has been a specialty of Sony’s a7S II camera for quite some time now. A successor to the a7S III was announced by Sony in July last year.  A discounted price is now available for the camera in Nepal. This article will give you information on Sony a7S III Price in Nepal with its specs and availability.

Sony a7S III Overview:

Launched in 2014, the Sony a7S is Sony’s first smartphone. Due to its low-light performance, it was widely acclaimed. A year later, Sony replaced it with the A7S II. It was a favorite of videographers since it offered internal recording of UHD 4K video. Only the internal recording of 4K and the in-body stabilization were different from the original a7S II. The rest of the design remained the same. The cameras featured CMOS full-frame sensors with 12MP.

Camera Sensor

A new Exmor R sensor powers the a7S III’s 12.1MP sensor. In addition to CMOS sensors, BIONZ XR processors also deliver improved color reproduction and texture rendering. Sony also maintains the a7S lineup’s famous sensitivity. With the lower base ISO of 80, Sony’s a7S III has a normal ISO range of 80 – 102,400. Video can be stretched from 80 to 409,600 pixels, and still images can be stretched from 40 to 409,600 pixels.

In an interview conducted earlier last year, Sony executive Kenji Tanaka stated that users have been asking for the ability to record 4K video at 60 frames per second. The Sony a7S III now shoots full-HD videos at 120fps. In addition, 10 bit black and white 4:2:2 video recording is also introduced. A 16-bit RAW video stream at 4K 60 frames per second can also be captured via HDMI Type-C.

Design and Durability

With regards to the design, Sony has redesigned the grip to be more comfortable. Dust and moisture are also better protected by the new design. Furthermore, Sony added a heat dissipating structure that prevents the use of fans and cabinet vents. Despite recording in 4K 60p 10-bit 4:2:2 for over an hour, the company claims that it can efficiently dissipate heat.

Autofocus

Unlike previous cameras in the series, the a7S III has hybrid autofocus. Around 92% of the sensor is covered by its 759 AF points. It enables users to follow subjects even when viewing through a narrow depth of field with its phase and contrast detection. With Real-time Eye AF, you can now detect an eye automatically when the camera detects one.

As well as AF Transition Speed and Subject Shift Sensitivity, Sony has offered seven settings. In the Imaging Edge Mobile application or on the LCD screen, users can now use touch focus.

Rest of the specs

There are two CFexpress Type-A compatible card slots on the a7S III. They are also compatible with SDXC/SDHC cards with UHS-I and UHS-II data rates. A new menu system has been implemented by Sony to improve navigation and speed up performance. For still shots and movies, users can now set different settings and switch between them quickly. With USB PD support, users can charge their devices while they are in use.
