12. Samsung Galaxy A52

Samsung Galaxy A52 Duos 128GB Black 8806090987557 20032021 01 p

Launched alongside the Galaxy A72, the Galaxy A52 is part of Samsung’s A series. With a hole-punch display, the Galaxy A52 has a 6.5-inch full-HD Super AMOLED display. Additionally, it has a fast refresh rate of 90Hz. In comparison to its competitors, the build is mainly plastic. Samsung’s Galaxy A52 is IP67 rated, and the SIM tray comes with a rubber seal that keeps dust and water out.  Despite its large battery size, the device is easily handled with one hand. There is a 25W fast charger included in the package, but you only get a 15W one.

The Galaxy A52 has four cameras at the back: a primary camera with 64 megapixels, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens, a 5-megapixel macro lens and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. When viewing in daylight, the camera captures good detail, but the wide-angle camera struggles to capture as much. The Galaxy A52 shot good portraits and good close-ups. In addition to the macro camera, the macro camera also produced a crisp image. The selfie camera took good selfies in most lighting conditions, and it performed well in the dark.

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 720 processor powers the Galaxy A52,  which is a decent processor. Due to the fact that it has 6 GB of RAM, it is capable of delivering good performance and can multitask without any problem. A52’s chipset feels underpowered in comparison with some of its counterparts.

With our usage, we were able to use the phone for a day and a half on the 4,500mAh battery. Likewise, charging times were not too long, with the charger topping up the phone in about an hour and a half.

Samsung Galaxy A52 Specifications:

  • Display: 6.5-inches FHD+ Super AMOLED panel, 90Hz refresh rate, 407 PPI. Corning Gorilla Glass 5
  • Chipset: Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G (8nm)

  • Front Camera: 32MP f/2.2 sensor (punch-hole cutout)
  • Security: Optical in-display fingerprint scanner, Face unlock
  • Battery:4500mAh with 25W fast charging (15W adapter provided)
  • Price: Rs. 41,999 (8/128GB)

13. Samsung Galaxy A51

Samsung Galaxy A51 Duos 128GB Black 8806090248160 10012020 01 p

One of the first budget phones to feature Samsung’s flagship-grade Infinity-O display cutout is the Samsung Galaxy A51. The phone is light and easy to handle. Super AMOLED technology offers vibrant and punchy  colours.

Powered by an Exynos 9611 octa-core processor, this phone is – as far as mid-range phones go – not too powerful and dated. In addition to One UI 2.0, it gives you some India-specific features, such as visual cards with SMS messages, predictive text in multiple languages, and Smart Crop with which you can crop screenshots to show only what’s important.

Samsung could have improved performance by using a more powerful processor. In addition, this is one of the first Samsung phones with a dedicated  macro camera. The quality of the image was good. In less than ideal lighting, the image quality of the front camera was also disappointing. There’s also fast charging at 15W, so you’ll be able to charge the phone almost instantly.

Samsung Galaxy A51 Specifications:

    • Display: 6.5-inches Full-HD+ “Infinity-O” Super AMOLED panel
    • Chipset: Exynos 9611
    • RAM: 6GB

    • Software & UI: Android 10 with One UI 2.0 on top
    • Rear Camera: Quad-camera; 48MP primary lens, 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, 5MP macro lens, 5MP depth sensor
    • Front Camera: 32MP
    • Security: Optical in-display Fingerprint-Scanner, Face unlock
    • Battery: 4000mAh with 15W Quick Charge
    • Price: Rs. 39,999

A massive 7,000mAh battery powers Samsung’s Galaxy M51, the company’s first smartphone with that capacity. Besides the bigger screen, the Galaxy M51 also has a Full-HD Super AMOLED display. Due to Samsung’s 20:9 aspect ratio, the device is tall and narrow. Toward the top of the Galaxy M51’s display, the camera is positioned at the center. Some users may find  this distracting while watching content.

The Galaxy M51 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 730G SoC, a first for a Galaxy M series device. The device can multitask without any issues and load apps quickly. Samsung has launched two models, one with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, the other with 8GB RAM and 128GB of  storage. A microSD card slot is also included on the Samsung Galaxy M51. During our testing, we did not experience any lag or stutter with the Galaxy M51.

The Galaxy M51 has a quad-camera setup consisting of a 64-megapixel primary camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, a macro camera, and a depth sensor. In daylight, the camera captured good pictures with  abundant details. Images taken with the wide-angle camera have distortion  at the edges. For both the primary and self-portrait cameras, video recording reaches 4K, but there isn’t much video stabilization.

Battery performance was excellent and we were able to use the smartphone for more than two days without charging it. As well as charging the device quickly, the supplied charger is also convenient.

17. Samsung Galaxy M31

Samsung Galaxy M31 Blue

In addition to its big 6.4-inch screen, Samsung Galaxy M31 also comes equipped with a water drop notch. Its AMOLED display has thin bezels around it, which makes it stand out among its competitors. 191g makes the Galaxy M31 a little heavy in the hand. Its weight is mainly due to the big 6,000mAh battery it packs.

A 6GB RAM configuration and an Exynos SoC are standard on the Galaxy M31 from Samsung. The device has two storage variants to choose from, 64GB and  128GB. Samsung’s Galaxy M31 is a dual SIM device with 4G and VoLTE capabilities. Based on Android 10, it runs Samsung OneUI 2.0. On our review of the Galaxy M31, we found it to be pretty bloated with a lot of unnecessary apps.

Samsung’s Galaxy M31 has a quad-camera setup at the back, with the primary camera  being a 64-megapixel shooter. It also has an ultra-wide-angle camera with 8-megapixels, a macro camera with 5-megapixels, and a depth camera with 5-megapixels. The performance of the daylight camera is good, but the low-light camera performed poorly.

Samsung has introduced another smartphone in its Galaxy M series, the Galaxy Galaxy. Among its key features are those that make Galaxy M series devices so popular. AMOLED displays don’t come as standard at this price point, and the smartphone features one. The display has a vibrant output and very good  viewing angles. Samsung made the Galaxy M21 from plastic so that it could be priced reasonably. Its 6,000mAh battery, which offers long battery life, is one of the Galaxy M21’s standout features. However, the charging time could be annoying due to the longer charging time.

The smartphone is powered by an Exynos 9611 SoC that offers decent performance. There are two RAM variants, 4 GB and 6 GB. In addition, 128GB and 64GB storage options are available. The Galaxy M21 has a triple camera setup, with the 48-megapixel primary scanner taking center stage. Daytime photos are good, but in low light the  performance takes a hit.
