Samsung unveils its third member of the M-series – Galaxy M30

As part of the Galaxy M series, Samsung has unveiled the third device. The Galaxy M30 is the latest addition to Samsung’s budget portfolio and follows the Galaxy M10 and M20. Samsung just announced the Galaxy M30 at an event in India, and the phone is incredibly feature-rich, making it competitive with the best devices in its price range.

With a 6.38-inch screen and an Infinity-U notch, the Samsung Galaxy M30 has a Super AMOLED Full HD display. This device comes with a new octa-core Exynos 7900 processor beneath the hood. The device features 4 GB of RAM and 6 GB of storage, plus 64 GB and 128 GB variants with external memory support.

In terms of its camera, the Samsung Galaxy M30 features triple rear-facing cameras. Two secondary cameras each with a 5MP wide-angle and a 5MP depth sensor complement the 13-megapixel primary camera. A 16-megapixel camera is equipped on the front of the phone for taking selfies. Samsung’s Galaxy M30 sports a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The Galaxy S8 is based on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with Samsung Experience UI. Pie will be released soon for this device, as Samsung has promised.

With Samsung’s Galaxy M20, it has also provided a 5,000mAh battery as well. The phone is equipped with a 15W fast charger and a Type-C port on the bottom for charging the battery.

Samsung Galaxy M30 Pricing and Availability

There are two versions of the Samsung Galaxy M30, one running for INR 14,990 and the other running for INR 17,990. Despite this, there is speculation that Samsung won’t launch the Galaxy M30 here in Nepal. Beginning March 7, the device will be available in India.
