Olympus 200MP penta-camera setup to be included with Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra

It would have been interesting to speculate on the features of the Galaxy Note lineup at this time of the year. The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 has already been canceled. Thus, the S22 lineup is once again the focus. Recent Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Rumors suggest that the S22 Ultra will use a 200MP sensor.

The dilemma about the camera

Next year, Samsung will launch the Galaxy S22 Ultra. People continue to discuss it despite that, however. A 200MP sensor was initially rumored to be included in the S22 Ultra.

Ice Universe, however, quickly dispelled the reports, stating that the 108MP ISOCELL HM3 sensor would be used instead.

The Ice Universe is standing by his statement, but a new report has come out from South Korea opposing it. A 200MP sensor will be used for the primary camera on the S22 Ultra, according to Pulse News. In addition, four other lenses will be included.

Partnership with Olympus

In regards to the camera setup, Samsung appears to be partnering with Japanese camera manufacturer Olympus. Smartphone brands have partnered with camera makers in the past, but the results have not been that impressive. According to rumors, Samsung approached Olympus for the partnership. We are therefore interested in seeing how the S22 Ultra works out.

Additionally, the phone will support the S Pen. Whether they will be packaged together is not yet clear.

It is expected that the Galaxy S22 Ultra will be announced at January’s Unpacked event. The Galaxy S21 Ultra was first announced at an online Galaxy Unpacked conference in January. Approximately the same time next year, Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will be introduced.
