Earlier today, Samsung launched its Galaxy A52 smartphone in Nepal, which can now be purchased. The Galaxy S10 is the successor to last year’s Galaxy A51, one of the best-selling phones in 2020. We will now explore the new Samsung Galaxy A52 price in Nepal including its features, specifications and availability in Nepal.
Samsung Galaxy A52 Overview:
There are two variations of this phone, so it’s imperative to know that before proceeding. The first uses 4G connectivity, while the second uses 5G. The Galaxy A52, a barebones device that does not have a 5G connection, is the subject of this article. The only difference between these two phones is their chipsets and their cellular connectivity.
Its 4G counterpart comes with the Snapdragon 720G instead. 5G Galaxy A52 features Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 750G while its 4G counterpart uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 720G. It is the most powerful silicon in its class, so it is not only 5G-ready.
I will start with the design now that that is out of the way. The A52 has a completely new appearance this time around, courtesy of Samsung. There is now a much more subtle back to the Galaxy A51 than the glossy prismatic back of its predecessor. This sleek phone has a matte finish that is unlike anything else. As well as the camera module, it is reworked.
Galaxy’s 2020 lineup of midrange phones will no longer feature the L-shaped layout. With its beady and pronounced sensor design, the A52’s camera arrangement is heavily influenced by that of the Galaxy S21 series. Despite the fact that lenses themselves aren’t protruding as much, the camera bump is pretty minimal pretty minimal. Moreover, the design is dust and water-resistant according to IP67 standards.
We can only hope that Samsung continues to offer this functionality in future products as well, since it is a rarity in its non-flagship phones. There are four colors available for the Galaxy A52: Awesome Black, Blue, White, and Violet.

With regards to the display, we have a 6.5′′ Super AMOLED “Infinity-O” screen. Glass 5 from Corning protects the screen. Furthermore, the refresh rate has been bumped to 90Hz from 60Hz. It should be noted that the Galaxy A32 4G recently launched by Samsung is the first non-flagship phone from the manufacturer to feature such a screen.
However, it doesn’t utilize a variable refresh rate (VRR) mechanism, which means that the display won’t dynamically adjust the refresh rate based on the content displayed. Samsung has also earned SGS eye comfort certification for reducing blue light emissions. This can even be set to turn on automatically at predetermined times.
Its high brightness mode, HBM (High Brightness Mode), can achieve up to 800 nits of brightness. In addition to the Always-on Display and fingerprint sensor in the display, the device also gets AMOLED-exclusive features. On the A52, there is no ultrasonic fingerprint reader like on Samsung’s flagship phones.
Regarding performance, Samsung made the decision to go with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 720G. In terms of comparison to the Galaxy A51, it does well to replace the overstretched Exynos 9611, but it is far from ideal on a phone of this price range. There are phones with this chipset, like the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max, that are in the mid-range.
Whatever you choose, you’ll get either 256 or 128GB of internal storage and 4, 6, or 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. Micro SD cards allow storage expansion up to one terabyte.
With Android 11 in the background, Samsung’s latest One UI 3.1 is running the show. Recent updates to the company’s software update policy have been announced. As a result, Samsung promises to update its smartphones’ OSes and security for a period of three years and four years, respectively. Consequently, Samsung’s Galaxy A52 is set to receive Android 14 (or whatever OS name Google decides to use) OS update.
At the back, this phone comes with a quad-camera setup like I mentioned earlier. A 64MP sensor replaces the 48MP primary camera on the A51, but everything else remains the same. The device features a 12MP ultrawide camera with a 123o Field Of View (FOV), a 5MP macro, and a 5MP depth sensor.
While the A52 is capable of 10x digital zoom, it cannot zoom telephoto like the A72. Furthermore, Samsung added optical image stabilization to its rear camera. By enabling the “Super Steady” mode, you can shoot stable videos even at 4K/30fps.
Video recording is not available at 60fps in any resolution, and while the ultrawide lens does support 4K, this comes at the expense of the optical image stabilization. In addition to the 32MP front-facing camera, it is capable of recording 4K/30fps videos but has no stabilization. In addition to Single Take, Fun mode, Super Slo Mode, Night Mode, etc., the Galaxy A52 also has the following camera features: Fun mode (developed with Snapchat), Super Slo Mode, Night Mode, etc.
Rest of the specs
An adequate 4500mAh battery supplies power to the device, which supports 25W fast charging. Luckily, the box includes a power adapter — but only a 15W model.
Our doubts about the battery life of this phone are based on Samsung’s claims. It also has stereo speakers certified to work with Dolby Atmos, so you can enjoy audio and video content with confidence. It also comes with Samsung’s Knox security.
