GoPro Hero 9 Black with 5K video capability is now available in Nepal

GoPro Inc. has launched the new action camera Hero 9 Black in Nepal. The new flagship device comes with some much-needed upgrades, such as a bigger battery, 5K video resolution, front-mounted LCD, and more. Action cameras like the Akaso Brave 7 LE and DJI Osmo Action compete against the GoPro Hero 9 Black. Check out the new GoPro Hero 9 Price In Nepal including its specs and availability.

GoPro Hero 9 Black Overview

A little heavier than its predecessor, the Hero 8 Black, the Hero 9 Black weighs around 158g. As a matter of fact, the GoPro Max is heavier than it. Although the device is heavier and bigger, it has a bigger battery and a front-facing display, which explains its heft.

Front and Rear Screens

GoPro users have been clamoring for a front screen for quite some time. There are devices such as the Osmo Action and the Brave 7 LE with a front display. Therefore, it is no surprise to see this in GoPro’s new setup.

With a display 1.4 inches, users will be able to align their shots properly behind them, and obviously take better shots. Touch capability isn’t available on the new display, though. You do have the option of choosing what to display, however. You can choose between the following options: center close up, Actual Screen, Status only, and off.

In addition, the rear screen size has changed as well. The device now measures 2.27 inches. As a result of the increase in size, larger buttons can now be found on the screen and a better viewing experience is possible in-camera.

Battery Life

The battery has also been upgraded to 1720mAh. Compared to the Hero 8’s 1220mAh battery, this is a significant upgrade. As a consequence, the company claims the new unit will offer 30% more functionality than its predecessor. In addition, the battery has been designed to work in cooler temperatures.

5K videos

In our opinion, the new device will probably just increase the frame rate of 4K videos. Our fears were unfounded when GoPro introduced a new 23.6MP sensor capable of shooting 5K video at 30 or 24 frames per second. Also included will be the ability to capture still images at 20MP. Videos in 4K and 2.4K still run at 60 frames per second, while in 1080p they run at 240 frames per second.

In similar fashion to the Hero 8, the Black Hero 9 is also equipped with plenty of mods. This new device is compatible with media mods, display mods, and light mods. It does have, however, a removable lens cover, which is a notable upgrade. Therefore, you can use another lens on top of the Hero 9.

For example, the Max Mod will let Hero 9 replicate the capabilities of the GoPro Max lens. It improves HyperSmooth, increases FOV, and provides 360-degree horizon locking.

Features and Power tools

In addition to HyperSmooth 3.0 and TimeWarp 3.0, there are other new features. You can now use half-speed with the TimeWarp 3.0 and HyperSmooth, which also increased in-camera stabilization and stabilization. They both work with the horizon leveling in the camera. Nevertheless, linear mode is available only for videos.

Also included are Scheduled Capture, Duration, and HindSight. The Scheduled Capture feature allows you to schedule the date and time when a recording will begin. A similar feature is Duration Capture, which lets you specify when the recording should end. Additionally, HindSight will allow you to see something that happened just moments before you began recording. LiveBurst and loop recording are combined here.
