Apple’s colorful M1-powered iMacs have finally launched in Nepal

Back in April, Apple launched a number of exciting products during its “Spring Loaded” event. A surprising highlight of the show was the multiple color options for the new Apple iMacs-who’d have thought? In any case, they’ve just launched in Nepal. Lets see Apple M1 iMac 24 Price in Nepal with its features and specs.

Apple M1 iMac 24 Overview:

The iMac 24 comes in an array of colors, which I mentioned earlier is one of its biggest selling points. As a result of the promotional poster on the official invitation for the “Spring Loaded” event, there were speculations of what this would be. This confirms Jon Prosser’s initial claim that the new iMacs would be available in multiple colors—five to be precise.

We were delighted to find out that the iMac 24 is available in seven colors: blue, green, pink, silver, yellow, orange, and purple. The colorful variants (re)introduced here are a direct homage to the iMac G3 from 1998. The iMac 24″ is slimmer than its predecessor’s bulky CRT body-it’s the slimmest ever.

This ultra-thin wall-mounted display blends seamlessly into any room with its 11.5mm thickness. Apple’s patented M1 chip is the reason for that, which I will get to shortly. There is a 50% reduction in volume according to Apple. In spite of the sleek design, there are two small fans inside the case.

Base vs high-end iMac

Apple has installed a single fan in the iMac models with a 7-core GPU, whereas the high-end model with an 8-core GPU comes with a dual-core GPU. Getting the high-end configuration is therefore a better choice if your work involves GPU-intensive tasks such as photo/video editing, 3D rendering, and so on.

This conclusion has also been verified by enough real-life tests. There are four USB-C ports on the back of the computer (2 USB 4/Thunderbolt, 2 USB 3) and one option for Gigabit Ethernet. You can also plug headphones into the 3.5mm jack.

These same models omit the USB 3 ports and the LAN connection for the ones with a GPU M1 chip. As an added bonus, the power cable (2 meters long) attaches magnetically, and it matches the color option on your iMac, too.

There’s a 24 inch 4.5K Retina display on the front of the laptop. The device supports Wide Color (P3), True Tone technology, and more than one billion colors. This display reaches a maximum brightness of 500 nits. There are other amenities as well, such coating.

Another option is 1080p FaceTime. Apple claims that the larger sensor works in tandem with the ISP on the M1 to produce the highest image quality on an iMac ever.

It also features a three-mic array with directional beamforming and a high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). In addition, “Hey Siri” is supported. The sound system includes six speakers that support Dolby Atmos.

Apple’s exclusive M1 processor powers the latest iMacs. The reasons that Cupertino ditched Intel for Arm are explained here. I mentioned above that it is the M1 chip that makes 2020’s iMac so thin. Consequently, Apple has been able to significantly reduce the size of its logic board and thermals.
