AMD Radeon RX 6800’s custom graphics Cards are here in Nepal

As a premium GPU market player, AMD finally has something against NVIDIA after years of following its rival. In a heads-up battle with the RTX 3000 series from NVIDIA, Radeon launched its latest Radeon RX 6000 series. As of now, custom AMD RX 6800 cards are available in Nepal, too. We will be discussing the AMD Radeon RX 6800, 6800 XT Price In Nepal with its specs, features and availability in this post.

AMD RDNA 2 Microarchitecture

Based on AMD’s entirely new RDNA 2 microarchitecture, AMD’s latest Radeon 6000 series GPUs are fast and responsive. Similar to its predecessor, it is based on a 7nm FinFet process. RDNA 2’s improvements are all the result of a new architectural design, just like Zen 3.

AMD has achieved up to 54% performance improvements per watt even without a new manufacturing process. AMD achieved this efficiency by clocked the cores 30% higher while consuming less energy.

Infinity Cache

Infinity Cache is a feature of the new graphics card. In addition, most graphics cards also have L0, L1, and L2 caches. Designed to meet the high gaming workloads, the Infinity Cache has a capacity of 128MB L3. It can result in effective bandwidth that is up to 1664 GB/s, four times higher than legacy L2 cache.

Ray accelerators are another new development. In AMD’s RX 6000 series, the Compute Units feature a Ray Accelerator. A Ray Accelerator is a component that enables real-time ray tracing. A new memory technology was announced by the company as well. The AMD Ryzen 5000 series CPUs can use the entire memory of the new GPU with resizable Base Address Registers.

The company is also developing Fidelity FX to enhance the gaming experience. In addition to denoising, variable shading, ambient occlusion, and Super Resolution, it includes a variety of other technologies. With AMD’s DLSS, NVIDIA can’t match its competitors. The technology is not yet complete, and a release date has not been announced.

AMD Radeon RX 6800 Overview:

This Radeon RX 6800 contains 26.8 billion transistors. Ray Accelerators are also included with 60 compute units. With a boosted clock speed of 2105MHz it can reach 1815MHz in games.

A GPU with 16 TFLOPs single precision and 32.33 TFLOPs half-precision computer performance is listed on the GPU’s datasheet. GDDR6 VRAM features 16GB of RAM clocked at 16Gbps. 512 GB/s of bandwidth is provided by the memory’s 256-bit interface.
